I recently came across this really great infographic with the space events of 2015. This list is of course not exhaustive and some things may change their date (it’s still just January), but it’s a pretty good reference. Check it out:

So, the main events are:

  • Atlas V MUOS 3 Rocket Launch
  • 2015 NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) Symposium Jan 27 – 29 (Streaming Live)
  • Launch is 9 FEB SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch of the DSCOVR observatory (Streaming Live)
  • ESA’s Intermediate eXperimental Vehicle (IXV) Launch
  • After 7.5 years, NASA’s Dawn Spacecraft arrives Ceres
  • Total Solar Eclipse
  • Two Astronauts Spend A Year In Space on ISS
  • NASA’s MESSENGER Mission will end, sending the probe crashing into Mercury
  • Atlas V rocket launches NASA’s Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) mission (Launch Date TBD)
  • Rocket Launch: Delta IV | Global Positioning System (GPS) IIF-9 (MARCH, TBD)
  • Yuri’s Night 2015 -The World Space Party
  • Hubble Telescope Turns 25!
  • Air Force X-37B Space Plane Launches 4th Secret Mission
