The audio below gives you a somewhat accurate glimpse of what the auditory hallucinations schizophrenics have to deal with on a day to day basis. It's freaky, scary and mind breaking. There are times when our thoughts can be overwhelming, but nothing comes close to what the mentally ill have to go through. The audio below gives you a somewhat accurate glimpse of what the auditory hallucinations schizophrenics have to deal with on a day to day basis. It’s freaky, scary and mind breaking. The footage was produced by Jarrad Wale, a health worker. From what I could gather from comments on YouTube left by self-described schizophrenics, the “voices” are pretty spot-on. Maybe not as demonic or demeaning for everyone, though.

Now that you’ve heard this, it’s easy to understand why so many of the mentally ill collapse and can’t function in normal society, or why some resort to violence directed at others or themselves.
