The fast rise of childhood and adolescent obesity in the US should be one of the government’s biggest concern.  One in three American kids are classed as obese. But while there’s much the government can do, like improve food served at cafeterias or crack down on abusive junk food advertising targeted for kids, the biggest responsibility lies with the parents. If you’re a parent, it’s up to you, first of all, to serve the kids healthy food and educate them about what’s good to eat and what isn’t. Some might find this infographic useful, but remember this is only superficial. Find a good book or two on nutrition, educate yourself and pass it on to the kids. Have a great weekend!
