It looks incredibly cute, but this actually has the full strength of venom and can definitely defend itself! For this reason, I’m not sure handling it with an open hand is such a good idea. When they grow up, they’ll be fearsome predators. King Cobras are the longest venomous snake in the world! The average male grows 18 feet long, and some have been known to grow more than 20 feet long.
